![]() ![]() Caffeine Content In Nespresso Vertuo Pods My table below also notes which pods contain Robusta beans. For most pods, you can usually find the types of beans used in the detailed description on the product pages on Amazon or Nespresso. Arabica and Robusta blended pods will usually fall somewhere in between. Therefore, pods made with 100% Robusta beans will have more caffeine than those made with 100% Arabica beans. They will contain Arabica or Robusta beans, or in some cases a blend of both. If you want to try to be on either the higher or lower end of the caffeine spectrum, pay attention to the type of beans in the Nespresso capsule. How Does Coffee Bean Types Impact Nespresso Caffeine Levels? If the specific numbers matter to you because for dietary or medical reasons, I would suggest reaching out to Nespresso directly. I think it is best to use this caffeine content info directionally, meaning which pods generally have more or less caffeine. That means I was able to get specific caffeine information for some pods, while others I have to approximate based on information from Nespresso. Unfortunately, not all Nespresso pods available in the US are sold in Taiwan. Since all Nespresso pods are made in Sweden and shipped across the world, the pods sold in Taiwan are the same ones sold elsewhere. However, the Taiwanese version of the Nespresso site does offer a specific level of caffeine for each pod. Nespresso says the reason that they only report a range as opposed to a specific number is because coffee is a live product and so the exact caffeine can vary from batch to batch. ![]() These ranges can be anywhere from 10 to 80 mg of caffeine depending on the pod type. The US site – and most international sites as well – only report a range of caffeine amounts for different pod sizes. The information that is there is very vague. The US version of the Nespresso website has very limited information on pod caffeine content. Is Nespresso Caffeine Content Related To Intensity Levels? IDK why I don't usually have too much consistency issues with other kinds but Tokyo Vivalto is very inconsistent in taste from 1 sleeve or even 1 capsule to another.Īnyway if you're going to drink it just make it as a regular lungo. (the ones in the sample packs usually taste best for some reason). Depending on the sleeve some of them taste very burnt. It's the best of the lungos for me, just not good enough. I didn't like any of the other lungos so I just drink espresso ones (right now loving Paris as a lungo, before that it was Genova Livanto) as lungo because I just don't love the Tokyo Vivalto. Thank rant said, I looooooooved Vivalto lungo before it became 'Tokyo' last year I tried to drink the new one for a while even though it has none of the complexity of the old one but I just don't really like it. People like their super sugary watery Starbucks lattes but even that isn't as huge as anywhere else people like here cause Starbucks is 'foreign' and what celebrities are photographed drinking, really. People here don't really drink espresso at all, lol. I think the 'drink it like a local' think is hilarious living in Tokyo for the past 10 plus years. ![]()
